Caillat, singer of hit songs Try and Bubbly took to the Blue Point main stage in Shorefront Park at about 7 p.m. and played until after sunset. Her friend Perri, singer of the hit ballad A Thousand Years, came on after dark.

Caillat complimented the crowd on Patchogue, calling it “such a cute town.” The California native then joked that she and her fiancé might start house shopping here.

The festival is running for four days, instead of three, for the first time in its nine-year history.

The Mighty Mighty Bosstones and 311 headline Friday night.
