Calendar: Go hear ‘Dust in the Wind’ live

Kansas at the Theatre

It’s been 40 years since the famed rock band Kansas came together in, well, Kansas, eventually penning such iconic tunes as “Dust in the Wind” and “Carry On Wayward Son.”

The band’s big anniversary tour continues Saturday¬†right in here in Patchogue, at the Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts.

Meanwhile, the Patchogue Arts Council’s PAC MAC (music, arts, cinema) Festival continues throughout Patchogue Village.

That includes performances Saturday and Sunday by the Tri-Valley Bass Band at the Village Green in the heart of the New Village at Patchogue luxury apartments complex.

The arts festival closes out with the much-anticipated “Worldwide Water” music festival, also at the Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts.¬†Featured musicians are Soundswell, Andrew Fortier, Tru Doty, The New Musicals Project Repertory Company, and more.
