The Amvets are kicking off the weekend with a St. Baldrick’s Day head-shaving fundraising event Friday night for childhood cancer. Head over to Post 111 at 5 p.m. or later for a free haircut or to donate. Click here for details.
That’s just one of seven Friday night events on the greaterpatchogue.com calendar.
Saturday’s headliner is the Seventh Annual Patchogue Folk Festival at the newly renovated Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts. This will mark the first big show since the $1 million+ renovation project wrapped up, and will be a nice opportunity for patrons to scope out the new-and-improved theater on East Main Street.
And, after all these years, if you’re still down with O.P.P. (good for you, for keeping it real), check out Naughty By Nature at The Emporium. Click here for details and for tickets.
We’ll wind it down Sunday with Seussical Jr. back at the Patchogue Theatre.
