20 Photos from Thursday night’s record-breaking Alive After Five

“A Celebration of Women in the Arts,” was the theme of Thursday night’s Alive After Five festival, which drew an estimated 25,000 people to Patchogue Village.

That number beat the previous record of 21,000 by nearly 20 percent. Read more here.

Painters, sketchers, sculptors and woodworkers, men and women alike, all had an increased presence outside the courthouse — where the art scene usually sets up — for the special night.

The next festival is Aug. 4.
