Time Lapse: Patchogue rings in 2017 in 30 seconds

Watch a sea of people that flooded Main Street in Patchogue on New Year’s Eve swell and disperse in just 30 seconds.

This time lapse by Benny Migs Photo of Patchogue documents the third annual Midnight on Main St. — a New Year’s Eve countdown — from two different rooftop angles.

The time lapse runs from from 7:30 p.m. to 9:15 p.m.

Patchogue rings in the New Year each Jan. 31 at 9 p.m., family friendly event that features a multi-color LED ball from Northstar Signs & Neon of Patchogue and Fireworks by Grucci.
